COMMUNITY FEEDBACK

"With chronic use, tolerance for meth can develop. In an effort to intensify the desired effects, users may take higher doses of the drug, take it more frequently, or change their method of drug intake."

After listening to the responses on the radio this morning, I'm sure you have received several emails.

We know people whose kids have been on meth and hearing their stories makes you realize how bad this stuff is. The TV ads and billboards are effective and it may offend some people, but if they stop one person from trying it, it is worth it. Because they are graphic, it gets peoples attention and even though some groups may disagree with the billboards, saving people's lives far outweighs what one small group complains about. Actually, if you talked to some of the people we have, the billboards depict what really goes on.

We received an update at our meeting yesterday, and there may be a decline in meth usage, but as she said, there are still a lot of people affected by the aftermath of meth. Especially neglected children. Keep up the good work.
